Eddie Glenn is an experienced professional currently serving as an Assistant Public Defender at Hennepin Public Defender since August 2023. Prior to this role, Eddie worked as a Software Engineer at Nava and Priori, contributing to the development of accessible government services and a platform for in-house legal teams. Eddie's software engineering career includes positions at CoverMyMeds, Flipgrid, and Software for Good, where skills in Ruby on Rails and React were utilized, alongside managing a program to support diverse aspiring developers. Eddie's foundation in technology was established with a graduate degree from Dev Bootcamp, and legal expertise was gained through a Doctor of Law from the University of Minnesota Law School, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in African American Studies and Religious Studies from the University of Minnesota. Additionally, Eddie served on the Board of Directors for the Great Lakes Region Training Institute, focusing on community service initiatives.
