Dalton Goodwin has extensive work experience in the field of BIM coordination and design technology. Dalton currently holds the role of Retail BIM Technical Manager at Henderson Engineers since July 2022. In their previous role as BIM/VDC Application Manager at Henderson Engineers from November 2021 to July 2022, Dalton was responsible for managing and developing the BIM/VDC Specialist team, as well as implementing and managing the company's BIM/VDC applications strategy.
Before joining Henderson Engineers, Dalton worked as the South-East Regional BIM Coordinator | Associate at DLR Group from February 2020 to November 2021, where they led the DLR Group Dynamo team and managed various scripts and tools. Dalton also managed the Elastic Stack (bimbeats) and developed dashboards to provide insights into the company's work.
Prior to that, Dalton served as a BIM Coordinator at BSA LifeStructures from September 2018 to July 2019. Dalton'sresponsibilities included achieving consistent results in BIM/CAD support, leading clash detection and resolution, and improving workflows through process or technology changes.
Dalton also gained experience as a Volunteer Presenter at Inventor Forge from July 2017 to July 2019, where they conducted presentations on Revit basics and model development techniques. Dalton worked as a BIM Lead at CRB from January 2017 to August 2018, managing and maintaining project design models and providing training to project team members.
Additionally, Dalton had roles as a Software Specialist/Temp at The Knowledge Cafe St. Louis from October 2017 to December 2017, a CAD Designer/Intern at TSI Global Companies, LLC from March 2016 to December 2016, and a Machine Operator at Toyota North America from November 2013 to June 2015.
Throughout their career, Dalton has demonstrated expertise in various BIM tools and processes, including Revit, Navisworks, Python, and Data, as well as experience in project coordination, training, and developing BIM strategies.
Dalton Goodwin attended Ranken Technical College from 2015 to 2016, where they obtained an Associates degree in Building Systems Engineering Technology.
