Kai Schmidt is an experienced community care manager currently overseeing aged care and disability services at HenderCare since July 2023. Previously, Kai held senior executive roles at Medibank, managing Home Support Services and chronic disease management programs. With a strong background in community service delivery, Kai served as General Manager at Silver Chain Group, where responsibilities included leading business innovation and engagement. Prior experience includes project management and consultancy roles at Royal District Nursing Service of SA Ltd and QinetiQ Australia, as well as a stint in the Royal Australian Air Force and Canadian Air Force. Kai Schmidt holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Adelaide and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada.
