Florin Muraru is an accomplished professional in the field of regulatory affairs, currently serving as the Group Head of Global Regulatory Affairs at Helsinn Group since October 2022, where leadership involves overseeing product development and lifecycle management for Helsinn products while shaping international regulatory strategies for key markets. Prior to Helsinn, Muraru held positions at Innovent Biologics as Senior Director Global Regulatory Strategy and Head of Regulatory Operations, and at CSL Behring as Global Regulatory CTA Opx Team Lead, where responsibilities included developing regulatory strategies for diverse therapeutic areas and ensuring compliance with international standards. Additional experience includes roles at PAREXEL, leading regulatory outsourcing services and managing teams of regulatory professionals, and at Roche Pharmaceuticals, where Muraru managed the Drug Regulatory Affairs Department in Romania. Florin Muraru holds an MBA in Business Management Marketing from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, and a BS in Medicine from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy „Gr T. Popa”.
