Liliana Gomez Murphy has a diverse work experience ranging from positions in educational organizations to roles at non-profit agencies and a university. Liliana currently works as the Executive Director at Florida Afterschool Network since February 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Assistant Director at the Department of Education from November 2017 until February 2022. Liliana also held positions at Help Me Grow Florida, where they worked as an Assistant Director and later as a Program and Research Manager from July 2017 to present and from November 2015 to November 2017, respectively. Liliana was also an Assistant Director at The Florida Department of Education from November 2017 to February 2022. Additionally, Liliana worked as a Rating and Support Specialist at the Early Learning Coalition of Miami-Dade/Monroe from May 2014 to October 2015. Liliana started their career as a Resident Assistant at Florida State University from August 2011 to May 2014. Lastly, Liliana gained valuable experience as an Administrative Assistant at The Roig Academy from May 2007 to September 2011, where they were involved in creating and implementing the Summer Camp Curriculum, drafting educational documents such as Individual Education Plans (IEP), and serving as a substitute teacher.
