Julia A. Schnabel's work experience includes holding roles at various prestigious institutions. Julia A. currently serves as the Head of the Institute of Machine Learning in Biomedical Imaging at Helmholtz Zentrum München, and as a Professor for Computational Imaging and AI in Medicine at the Technical University of Munich. Prior to these positions, they were the Chair in Computational Imaging at King's College London and a Visiting Professor in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford. Julia A. Schnabel earned a PhD in Computer Science from UCL from 1994 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed their Diplom (equivalent to MSc) in Computer Science at Technische Universität Berlin from 1989 to 1993.
