Liran Gafniel has a work experience as a Software Engineer at Simply (formerly JoyTunes) since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Skycure, which was acquired by Symantec, from April 2016 to December 2019. Liran also worked at VMware, first as a Software Engineering Intern from April 2012 to July 2014, and then as a Software Engineer from August 2014 to March 2016.

Liran Gafniel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University, which was completed by the year 2015. In 2021, Liran pursued further education at the IAC - Israeli Animation College, focusing on 3D Modeling and Animation. The duration of this program was one year, concluding in 2022.
