Jason Melton is an experienced Frontend Developer currently at Factor_ since November 2020, following a foundational education in software engineering at Flatiron School. Prior to this role, Jason gained practical programming skills in full-stack web development, Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript. Jason has also worked in various capacities, including Assistant Site Lead at JCC Chicago and Chess Instructor at Chess Scholars, demonstrating strong leadership and communication abilities. Additionally, Jason has academic experience as a Limited Term Lecturer at Purdue University Northwest, teaching courses in philosophy. Notable technical projects include the development of "Paperclips," a journaling app aimed at enhancing writing engagement. Jason holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Purdue University Northwest.
