Artur Felix is an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Chefe de Mecanica at Helix Energy Solutions Group since May 2017, Artur has held key positions at Ocean Rig as a Hydraulic Engineer and at Schahin Engenharia and Queiroz Galvão Óleo e Gás S.A. as Rig Mechanic Supervisor, where responsibilities included maintenance and commissioning of sixth-generation drilling ships. Prior roles also include Rig Mechanic Supervisor at Brasdril and Field Service Technician at NOV-Brasil, alongside an internship as a mechanical technician at FMC do Brasil. Artur holds a degree in Production Engineering from INSE Censa Campos and a technical qualification in Mechanics from CEFET-Campos.
