Kjersti Lunnan is an experienced design engineer currently working at Heli-One since December 2014, where responsibilities include creating design modifications for helicopters with a focus on mechanical design. Prior to this role, Kjersti served as a tutor at the University of Sydney, assisting students in the subject "Introduction to Aircraft Construction and Design" and contributing to the construction of a Jabiru kit aircraft. A brief tenure as an engineering trainee at Widerøe involved maintaining the airworthiness of DHC-8 aircraft, while earlier experience includes customer service support at ITS Management and assembly of CFM56 aircraft engines at Pratt & Whitney, where an EASA approved B1 license was obtained after completing an apprenticeship. Kjersti holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Aeronautics from the University of Sydney.
