Gennaro Puppo is an experienced professional in the cement industry, currently serving as Regional Technical Director and West Africa Technical Director at Heidelberg Materials since August 2016. Previously, Gennaro held significant roles at CTG- Italcementi Group from October 2009 to August 2016, including Industrial Performance Manager for Asia and Europe and Plant Manager, where contributions included coordination of technical due diligence for the Holcim-Lafarge deal and successfully managing the startup of a $650M cement plant. Earlier positions include Plant Manager at Italcementi S.p.A and various maintenance roles at Italcementi Group and Georgia-Pacific LLC, complemented by education in Chemical Engineering and an MBA from SDA Bocconi.
