Max Hames, MBA, currently serves as the Assistant Plant Manager at Heidelberg Materials North America since February 2023. Previously, Max held the position of Production Manager at BYK Additives & Instruments from March 2020 to February 2023, and has extensive experience at USG from June 2015 to March 2020, where roles included Quarry and Mill Manager, Plant Engineer, and Project Engineer. Max is recognized for managing significant capital responsibilities annually and is a certified Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma, also serving as a Safety Team Leader. Prior experiences include an internship as a Quarry Engineer at Lafarge and a role as a Mining Surveying Teaching Assistant at Virginia Tech. Max obtained an MBA from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Virginia Tech.
