Sungho Jeon is a Ph.D. student at the Heidelberg Institute for Theoretical Studies, focusing on modeling text coherence and entity relationships, with research aimed at enhancing human-like interpretability and efficiency in AI systems. Prior roles include an internship as a research scientist at Meta, where Sungho worked on pre-training an audio language model, and as an applied scientist intern at Amazon, investigating the interpretability of neural models. Sungho also has experience as a research assistant at Technische Universität Darmstadt and a visiting researcher at L3S Research Center. A seasoned research engineer at ETRI, Sungho contributed to machine learning in computer security, resulting in multiple patents and published papers.
