Aaron Marsh, P.E., currently serves as Corporate Tailings Manager at Hecla Mining Company, providing expert guidance on tailings projects across all Hecla sites since December 2023. Previously, Aaron held various roles at Hecla Greens Creek Mining Company from February 2017, including Project Manager for the Tailings Disposal Facility Expansion, where leadership spanned a multidisciplinary team to complete environmental documentation and initiate the NEPA process. Aaron also functioned as Chief Civil Engineer, managing surface operations and overseeing the design and monitoring of a "dry stack" tailings facility. Earlier experience includes civil and geotechnical engineering at DOWL, project inspections for hydroelectric facilities, and research roles at Brigham Young University, where work involved large-scale testing and finite element modeling. Aaron holds a Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Geotechnical Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, both from Brigham Young University.
