Research Associate In Marcus Institute For Aging Research at Hebrew SeniorLife

Cole Heine is a Research Assistant at Hebrew SeniorLife in the Marcus Institute for Aging Research, focusing on delirium and dementia under Dr. Sharon Inouye since May 2023. Prior experiences include serving as a Molecular Biology Research Assistant in the Helfand Lab at Brown University, where Cole completed an honors thesis under Dr. Jennifer Carr and Professor Stephen Helfand, and as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant in various biology courses. Additionally, Cole has contributed to the Laboratory for Cognitive and Perceptual Learning utilizing computational neural modeling, and has experience as an Academic Tutor at First to Learn Enrichment Center. Cole also participated as a Summer Fellow at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in a program centered on biomedical big data science. Cole holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology with Honors and a Certificate in Data Fluency from Brown University.
