Trey Wodele is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in nonprofit management, education, and film production. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Hearts & Hammers since May 2024, Trey oversees operations, programs, and fundraising efforts to drive the organization’s mission. As the Founding Director of the Northern Film Alliance since 2007, Trey supports film festivals in the northern United States, enhancing film exhibition and education. Previous roles include Director of Communications at Eureka Recycling, Campus Director, and Associate Dean of Education at the Institute of Production and Recording, as well as a career coordinator and educator at Minnesota Transitions Charter School. Trey holds a BA in Screenwriting from Metro State University, a licensure in education from Augsburg University, and an MBA from Globe University.
