Vern Lampman is an experienced truck driver with a career spanning several decades in the transportation industry, currently employed as an over-the-road truck driver at Heartland Express, Inc. since December 2014. Previous roles include working with Fleetmaster Express Inc., Interstate Distributor Co., and as a self-employed trucking owner/operator, honed in safely and efficiently transporting general freight across the United States. Vern's foundational experience also includes military service as a Major in the US Air Force Reserve and various engineering and operational roles in the Air Force, complemented by a background in loan origination and broadcasting engineering. Vern holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics from DeVry University and completed Officer Training School with the US Air Force.
