Casey Crabtree is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both public service and the private sector. Currently serving as a State Senator for District 8 in South Dakota, Casey has been elected Majority Leader for the 2023-2024 session and chairs the Senate State Affairs committee, while also contributing to the Senate Commerce and Energy and Legislative Procedures committees. In addition, Casey is the Director of Economic Development at Heartland Energy, focusing on community growth and economic stability through innovative programs. Previously, Casey excelled as a Servant Leader at Interstate Batteries, achieving significant sales milestones and recognition, and held roles at Daktronics that spurred remarkable sales growth across a 13-state territory. Casey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from Northern State University.
