Heartbeat Alliance is the GP Federation for Hambleton Richmondshire and Whitby and is a Community Interest Company owned by the GP Practices in the three localities. As well as providing support and opportunities for at scale working to its member practices and primary care networks it is also a healthcare provider, delivering evening and weekend access General Practice services from multiple locations and a diabetes structured education service for patients across the area.
Heartbeat’s mission statement is to improve health. It meets everyday health and care needs by supporting the communities they serve with innovation and quality services. It is underpinned by the principles of valuing local community, building effective delivery collaborations, innovation and inclusivity.
