Rob Charlish currently serves as the Head of Computing and Digital Industries at Heart of Yorkshire Education Group since June 2022. Prior experience includes roles at Wakefield College, where responsibilities encompassed Curriculum Development Manager for Digital (Games) and Lecturer in Games Design from September 2011 to June 2022, along with a position as Programme Leader for the FdA Indie Games at University Centre Wakefield from August 2014 to June 2022. Previous industry experience spans several positions in game design and development at companies such as Team17, Electronic Arts, and Small Rockets, culminating in extensive expertise in game production and education. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Indie Game Development from Falmouth University, an In-Service Certificate in Education and PGCE from The University of Huddersfield, and a Foundation Degree in Web Design from University Centre Wakefield.
