David Hovstadius is senior vice president of finance operations at Hearst. Hovstadius is responsible for Hearst’s transactional finance and procurement operations, including enabling technologies. He is focused on continuous process improvement, automation and operational excellence and is the executive leader for the company’s finance transformation journey to the cloud, having successfully implemented Oracle’s Cloud ERP and EPM suite of products.

Hovstadius began his career at Accenture in 1992 and has over 28 years of experience in the communications, media and high-tech industries, specializing in enterprise transformation programs and operations.

Hovstadius completed his undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Connecticut.
