Emma Bashagha has a diverse range of work experience spanning different industries. Emma began their career as a Volunteer Manager at The Parasol Project in 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Marketing and Fashion Assistant at Head Office for Oxfam. The same year, they joined MBA IT as an Account Manager and Team Captain, and later transitioned to the role of Account Manager. In 2017, Emma became a Client Partner at First News, the highest read children's title in the UK. Currently, they are working at Hearst UK, where they have held various roles including Senior Sales Executive, Accreditation Manager, and currently serves as the Accreditation Sales Director.
Emma Bashagha obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in English from the University of Chichester from 2012 to 2015. In addition, they have received various certifications including AD Net Zero Essentials from IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising) in 2022, Hearst Data University Data Fundamentals from Hearst Magazines in 2021, Hearst Data University Privacy and Targeting from Hearst Magazines in 2021, and Disability and Equality Training in 2014. Emma also received certifications in EpiPen Training, Epilepsy Training, First Aid at Work, and TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) from various institutions in 2014.
