Julie Marks is an experienced writer and producer with a career spanning over 15 years in the broadcast and health media industries. Since 2007, Julie has worked as a freelance writer and producer while also serving as a freelance producer at Ivanhoe Broadcast News, Inc. since 2004, where script production and health feature writing are primary responsibilities. Julie has held various roles, including Director of Medical Programming, managing a team of 25 to create medical broadcast reports for over 100 affiliate stations. Current positions include contributing writer at Everyday Health Inc., health writer at Healthline Media, and medical writer at WebMD, among others, focusing on health conditions and treatments. Julie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism and Creative Writing from the University of Central Florida.
