Dr. Engrs. CiCi Bassey is a seasoned epidemiologist and public health expert with extensive experience in various health sectors. Currently serving as the Epidemiologist in charge of Port of Entry for the Akwa Ibom State Government since May 2004, Dr. Bassey also holds roles as Editor in Chief for NMA Today and as a freelance health writer for multiple platforms including Yahoo and The Independent, focusing on women's health and chronic conditions. In addition, Dr. Bassey operates as a Global Health Consultant for organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Panagora Group.
