Keith Blakey is an experienced investigator with a diverse background in law enforcement and healthcare safety. Currently serving as a Maternity Investigator at the Healthcare Safety Investigation Branch since July 2019, Keith previously worked as an Investigator at Red Snapper, focusing on a significant unlawful killing enquiry from September 2013 to June 2019. Keith's extensive tenure at Lincolnshire Police from 1986 to 2013 included roles such as Detective Inspector, where responsibility encompassed managing major crime teams and investigations into homicide, kidnap, and organized crime. Additionally, Keith held various positions, including Head of Anti-Corruption Unit and Crime Training, further highlighting a solid foundation in complex fraud cases and operational policing. Education was completed at King's School Grantham from 1970 to 1975.
