Tijesunimi (TJ) Fatunmbi currently serves as a Data Engineer at Health Catalyst since June 2021. Previously, Tijesunimi worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Austin Peay State University from August 2019 to May 2021, where a natural language processing model was built to analyze student feedback, and a machine learning-based chatbot was developed for student services. Prior experience includes serving as a Data Scientist at Benin Electricity Distribution Plc from November 2017 to June 2019, focusing on Python, SQL, and Tableau to complete projects on sales and energy demand forecasting, as well as creating data pipelines. An earlier internship as a Software Engineer at Deluxe Developers involved software testing and optimizing website performance. Tijesunimi holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Austin Peay State University and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Ilorin.
