Ty Nelson is Co-founder and Board Member of Health Carousel. During his tenure, Health Carousel has grown to become the 82nd-largest staffing firm and the 13th largest healthcare staffing firm in the United States in 2019. His career spans 25 years, with experiences in a variety of industries, including healthcare staffing, healthcare management consulting, and software development. Ty’s most recent operating role with the company was President, but he has also served in a variety of roles at Health Carousel, including stints in marketing, technology, recruiting, and operations.

He earned an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University.

Ty is actively involved in the Ohio Valley Princeton Association and enjoys spending time with his family. In his free time he enjoys squash, cooking, golf, and running.
