Kathryn Ruais, CPA, is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in nonprofit and organizational financial management. Currently serving as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Healing HeARTS Mobile Art Studios, Kathryn has demonstrated a commitment to supporting youth through innovative self-care initiatives. Previous roles include Vice President of Finance at America's Charities, where strategic financial oversight contributed to organizational growth, and Interim Controller for organizations such as the Brady Campaign & Center to Prevent Gun Violence and the American Medical Informatics Association. Kathryn’s extensive experience as Chief Financial Officer for the Blinded Veterans Association involved enhancing financial operations and ensuring accountability. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Public Accounting from George Mason University, Kathryn also led financial teams at GRF CPAs & Advisors and St. John's Community Services.
