Edward Lord is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in fundraising and development within nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as Chief Revenue Officer at The Headstrong Project since July 2023, Edward previously held the position of Regional Development VP/Senior Officer for Development and Board Engagement at USO from June 2020 to July 2023, leading development functions for the Southeastern Region. Edward's prior roles include Chief Development Officer at the Southern Poverty Law Center, where responsibilities encompassed fundraising strategy and donor cultivation, and Chief Strategy Officer for Global Cloud, advising nonprofit clients on maximizing ROI. Edward's significant tenure at the American Cancer Society spanned nearly 25 years, with various leadership roles such as Senior Vice President for Business Development and Executive Vice President for Virginia and West Virginia, during which Edward managed multimillion-dollar fundraising initiatives and personnel across multiple states. Edward holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
