Cal Thompson is a seasoned design and research leader with extensive experience in developing human-centered, behavioral design-driven experiences, currently serving as Vice President of Design and Research at Headspace since December 2019. Prior roles at Headspace include Vice President of Design and Senior Director of Design, where Cal focused on accessibility in meditation and mental healthcare. Previous experience includes Design Director at Fjord, leading service design and digital transformation programs, and Senior Interaction Designer at Chaotic Moon Studios, serving prominent clients such as Disney and Southwest Airlines. Cal also has experience in volunteer coordination and media outreach in non-profit sectors, alongside a strong educational background in Studio Art and Interaction Design from prestigious institutions.
