Sarmad Al-Mashta is a seasoned professional in the field of architecture and building engineering, currently serving as a Transportation Architecture Principal at HDR since September 2024. With extensive teaching experience as a part-time instructor in the Building Engineering Program at Concordia University since September 2009, Sarmad focuses on Building Engineering Drawings and the Impact of Technology on Society and Architecture. Previous roles include Principal Architect at Architecture49 Inc. and Architect/Director of ekm Lab at ekm architecture, along with various project architect positions at firms such as Gupta Architecture Inc. and Marco Manini Architecte.
