Jeff Young is an experienced civil engineer currently serving as the Transportation Roadway Program Lead and Roadway Section Manager at HDR since February 2020, overseeing the Transportation Roadway Group for the Illinois and Indiana areas. Prior to this role, Jeff spent over 16 years at McHenry County Division of Transportation, rising from Engineering Project Manager to Assistant County Engineer. Jeff's earlier career includes positions as Transportation Engineer at Metro Transportation Group and Transportation Consultant. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned between 1990 and 1995.
