Dawn Szewczyk, P.E. is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as Vice President at HDR since April 2023. Prior to this role, Dawn held the position of Director & Chief Engineer for the City and County of Honolulu from May 2021 to April 2023, overseeing the Department of Facility Maintenance. Dawn's career includes significant roles such as Deputy Director of Facility Maintenance at NAVFAC, Deputy Public Works Officer at CNIC HQ, and Program Manager for the Pacific Air Forces. With prior experience at CH2M HILL and other engineering firms, Dawn has demonstrated expertise in facility maintenance, asset management, and business analysis within both public and military sectors. Dawn holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Loyola Marymount University and graduated from Punahou School.
