Young Min Choi has a diverse work experience in the construction and engineering industry. Young Min started their career as a Structural Engineer at STX Offshore & Shipbuilding Co. Ltd. in 2007, where they were responsible for sales engineering, technical meetings, and structural detail engineering. In 2012, they joined Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd as a Design Manager for four years. Young Min then moved to Hyundai Construction Equipment Company in 2018, where they served as an Overseas Sales Team Manager and later as a Planning Manager until 2021. Starting in 2022, Young Min Choi joined Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe as the Head of MH Department in Europe. In 2023, they also took on the role of Head of Department at HD Hyundai Construction Equipment.

Young Min Choi attended Inha University from 1999 to 2006, where they obtained a degree in marine science for the duration of 1999 to 2006, and a degree in ocean and shipbuilding engineering from 1999 to 2005.
