Marlin Deckert is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the tech industry, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer in the Products & Platforms Division at HCL Technologies since September 2016. Prior to HCL, Marlin spent over thirteen years at IBM Rational Software, specializing in IBM Rational ClearQuest following the acquisition of Rational. Marlin's career began at Rational in 1987, focusing on integrated programming environments and development for Rational ClearQuest. Additional experience includes system design at Ebnek, Inc. for a real-time operating system, software development at Mycro-Tek, Inc. for a publishing system, consultation for Kreonite, Inc., and co-founding Central Digital Technology to develop telecommunication software. Marlin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tabor College.
