Bill Quinn is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Software Architect II at HCL Software since December 2017, Bill has successfully modernized a legacy product to cloud-native technologies, componentizing over 20 services using modern Java/Spring and Node. Prior to this role, Bill held the position of Senior Software Engineer at IBM from 1998, contributing to critical technical projects and leading teams to launch several first-release products, including IBM SmartCloud Meetings and Sametime versions. Bill's career began at DataBeam from 1994 to 1998, where leadership in global support and subsequent development of new products were key responsibilities. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky, with a minor in Mathematics and Computer Science, and a specialty in Electrical Engineering.
