Deborah M. Reiner is senior vice president, marketing and communications for HCA Healthcare, one of the nation's leading providers of healthcare services. She is responsible for the company's marketing and communications strategy and related operations, as wel as overseeing HCA Healthcare's community relations efforts, and engaging key audiences to support HCA Healthcare's strategic agenda and patients-first culture. A 22-year veteran of HCA Healthcare, Reiner spent her first 12 years in the company's Mountain Division in various roles around marketing, planning, and service line growth. Since transitioning to HCA Healthcare's corporate office, she has led the activity to launch MyHealthOne patient portal, established an enterprise platform for websites and digital modules, and merged five separate patient-facing call centers into a shared service model dedicated to enhancing growth, retention, and patient engagement. The HCA Healthcare rebrand was also launched under Reiner's leadership. Over the years, Reiner has supported a variety of community organizations, including committee work for United Way and Catholic Health Charities. She currently serves on the boards of the HCA Healthcare Foundation, the HCA Healthcare Hope Fund, United Way of Greater Nashville and St. Luke's Community House. She was also a founding member of "Life After Breast Cancer" - an annual celebration of life for breast cancer patients, survivors and their families in Utah that was started when survivorship of breast cancer was less advanced than it is today.
Reiner has a dual degree in journalism and business management from the University of Wyoming and a master's in organizational management from the University of Phoenix.
