Puja Mahtani has a diverse range of work experience in the field of design and user experience. Puja is currently working as a Product Designer at hc1, starting in 2023. Previous to this, they held a Product Designer role at Securitas Group from 2022 to 2023.

In 2021, Puja worked at the IU School of Informatics and Computing at IUPUI, first as a User Experience Research Assistant, where they focused on guiding research for individuals with disabilities in the tech industry. Puja also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, mentoring students and assisting with coursework.

Before that, Puja held a Product Design Internship at hc1 from 2022 to 2022. Prior to this, they worked at GraffersID as a UI/UX Designer from 2020 to 2021, and as a Graphic Designer for a brief period in 2020. Puja'searliest work experience was at Zest Smart Solutions as a UX Design Executive from 2019 to 2020.

Puja Mahtani completed a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Vivekanand Education Society's Institute Of Technology, between the years 2016 and 2020. Following that, they pursued a Masters in Human Computer Interaction at Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, from 2021 to 2023. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the "DIGITAL SKILLS: USER EXPERIENCE ACCENTURE" certification from Accenture in October 2020. Puja also received the "Xtern - The Ultimate Tech Internship" certification from TechPoint in August 2022 and the "ADPList Product Day 2023" certification from adplist.org in May 2023.
