Maureen Friar

Maureen Friar, MPP, currently serves as the Chief of Staff at the Harvard Business School Club of New York, managing operations for a membership association that supports over 13,000 alumni. As the Founder and Principal of Friar Strategies since 2007, Maureen provides consulting and interim leadership to nonprofit and philanthropic organizations, focusing on strategic planning and growth initiatives. Previous roles include Interim Director of Development at Red Hook Initiative, Chief Executive Officer of YWCA of the City of New York, Director of Business Development and Marketing at NCheng LLP, and Interim Executive Director of Huairou Commission.
