Anders Thyssen currently serves as the Head of R&D for Sound & Vibration Transducers at HBK - Hottinger Brüel & Kjær, leading the R&D department focused on vibration, acoustic, and electro-acoustic transducers since January 2019. Previous roles at HBK include Head of Vibration Sensors and Manager of Vibration Transducer Lifecycle and R&D. Prior to this, Anders Thyssen worked at Bruel & Kjaer Sound & Vibration Measurement A/S, where responsibilities included managing production support and serving as an R&D Engineer. Anders Thyssen holds a PhD in Physics from the Technical University of Denmark and is pursuing an Executive MBA at Henley Business School. A Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt is also part of the professional qualifications. Early career experiences include roles in delivery and food service.
