Detlef de Vries is a seasoned finance executive with extensive experience in various CFO and financial leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as CFO at HBM Machines B.V. since July 2020, Detlef is responsible for finance, data, and IT. Prior to this, Detlef had multiple interim CFO and financial director roles, including notable stints at Dunlop Protective Footwear and Nmbrs. Detlef has a strong background in finance craftsmanship, having supported numerous companies with financial due diligence, reporting improvements, and strategic roadmap enhancements. In addition to executive roles, Detlef actively coaches startups and advises on a broad range of finance topics. Detlef holds multiple degrees, including an Executive MBA from Nyenrode Business University, and has a solid foundation in applied mathematics and electrical engineering.
