Josiah Bania is an experienced acting instructor and portrait photographer based in New York City. Currently serving as an Adjunct Lecturer at Brooklyn College and an Acting Teacher at HB Studio, Josiah specializes in Chekhov and Shakespeare, focusing on text work and character embodiment techniques. As a portrait photographer since January 2021, Josiah captures headshots for creatives and fashion models, employing various lighting techniques. Previously, Josiah worked as an Event Assistant at the Ford Foundation, contributing to the production of events by coordinating logistics and administrative tasks. Josiah's acting career includes roles in productions at Yale Repertory Theatre and a prominent performance in Michael Kahn's "The Oresteia." Josiah holds a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from Yale School of Drama.
