Chad Smith is a dedicated substance abuse counselor currently employed at the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation since October 2023. Prior to this role, Chad worked as a Therapist III at Saluscare from July 2015 to October 2023, providing individual and group therapy for clients with substance abuse and mental health disorders. Chad's earlier experience includes serving as a Counselor at Naples Metro Treatment Center, where responsibilities encompassed individual counseling, client intakes, and treatment plans. Additionally, Chad interned as a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern at Catholic Charities Family Counseling Center, offering therapy to adult and adolescent clients. Chad's experience also includes volunteering as a Mentor at Compeer and as a Crisis Hotline Volunteer for Project HELP, Inc. Chad holds a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida.
