Michael Fu MD, MBA, currently serves as the Senior Director of Product & Behavioral Health Strategy at Hazel Health, a role that has evolved through various leadership positions within the company since June 2020. In October 2023, Michael co-founded culture therapy, and previously founded Project Zeeni, a mental health non-profit for low-income adolescents, from July 2019 to July 2021. Michael's experience also includes serving as a Strategy Fellow & Project Lead at Hopelab, where an award-winning anxiety chatbot for young adult cancer survivors was developed, and positions at GSR Ventures and REDF focusing on healthcare investments and social enterprises, respectively. Michael began a career in education with Teach For America, teaching middle school math. Academically, Michael holds an MD from Stanford University School of Medicine and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, in addition to a BS in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
