Brian Foster is an experienced educator and committee member with a strong background in social studies instruction and public policy oversight. Currently serving on the Measure F1 Citizens Bond Oversight Committee for the Hayward Area Recreation and Park District since April 2020, Brian Foster's teaching career includes positions at various school districts, including West Contra Costa Unified School District, Albany Unified School District, and Newark Unified School District, where courses such as Medieval World History, Modern World History, and American Government/Economics were taught. Brian Foster holds a Teacher Credential from California State University - East Bay, along with a Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and a double major in Political Science and Economics from the same institution.
