Darby Sorrels is an Associate at Haynes and Boone, LLP, having started this role in October 2023. Previous experience includes serving as Managing Editor for The Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law from April 2022 to April 2023, and holding the position of Summer Associate at Haynes and Boone, LLP during two separate periods in 2021 and 2022. Darby also gained valuable experience as a Legal Intern at Abraham, Watkins, Nichols, Sorrels, Agosto, Aziz & Stogner from January to July 2020, and at Dunnam & Dunnam LLP from January to May 2018. Darby Sorrels earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from The University of Texas School of Law between 2020 and 2023, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Baylor University from 2016 to 2019. Education was initiated at St Agnes Academy School, where graduation occurred in 2016.
