Professor Dr. Hamdia Mirkhan Ahmed serves as the Director of The Center for Research and Education for Women's Health and has held the position of Dean of the College of Health Sciences at Hawler Medical University since January 2010. With a foundation in nursing as the Head of Nurses at Rezgary Hospital from 1999 to 2001, Dr. Ahmed also worked as a lecturer at Hawler Medical University from 2009 to 2014. Dr. Ahmed earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Maternity Nursing from Hawler Medical University between 2006 and 2009 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Science from a university in Arak, Iran, obtained from 1993 to 1996.
