Jonathan McMahon has a strong background in data science and machine learning. Jonathan currently works at HawkEye 360 as a Senior Data Scientist, starting in April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Maxar Technologies from July 2018 to April 2022 as a Machine Learning Scientist, specializing in geospatial machine learning. In this role, they designed, trained, and optimized neural nets using remote sensing and geospatial data. Before Maxar, Jonathan worked at Capital One from July 2015 to July 2018 as a Senior Software Engineer, Machine Learning. Jonathan was the lead engineer for a Commercial Bank tech innovation team, focusing on machine learning and intelligent automation. At Capital One, they solved automation problems for the document management platform using machine learning techniques.

Jonathan McMahon has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Jonathan also holds a Master's degree in Statistics from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from George Mason University.
