Theresa Whiting is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Maternal Wellbeing & Child Protection Coordinator at Te Whatu Ora Te Matau a Māui Hawke's Bay since September 2023. In addition to this role, Theresa holds the position of Station Officer at Fire and Emergency NZ since August 2021 and has been a Nurse Director at both Magenta Blue Ltd and Breaking the Code of Silence Ltd since 2018 and 2014, respectively. With a strong focus on issues such as suicide prevention and domestic violence, Theresa has highlighted the critical state of domestic violence in New Zealand.
