Gary Rose "Tonka" is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as a pilot for Hawaiian Airlines since July 2022. Simultaneously, Gary operates as the owner and CEO of 9G LLC, a company focused on leadership, strategy, and team building. With a rich background in the United States Air Force, Gary held various senior leadership roles, including Deputy Director for HQ PACAF, where guidance was provided for over 100 personnel in strategic development and operational planning. Additionally, leadership of the 57th Adversary Tactics Group was executed, managing over 400 personnel across multiple squadrons. Gary's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Military Institute, and Master's degrees in Systems Engineering and Military Strategic Studies from the Air Force Institute of Technology and Air University, respectively.
